  • We all know the best ways to keep physically fit like exercise, eating healthy food, not smoking or drinking too much, and here at 360º we can offer you access to health care including; providing immunisations you may have missed, contraception, healthy eating, general health information and sexual health information.

Emotional Health

  • Your emotional health is just as important as your physical health; it is all about how you feel and how you cope with difficult situations.
  • When you have positive emotional health you feel you are able to cope even if things go wrong, you will be confident and feel good and have a good network of family and friends.
  • When your emotional health is not so good you may be feeling low, find it hard to cope, feel all alone and difficult to make and keep friends.
  • No one feels great all the time, and it's normal to feel low sometimes, as long as it doesn't stay that way for too long.
  • Using substances can affect how you feel emotionally and sometimes you may decide to use drugs of alcohol because you don't feel like you are coping, or to cheer yourself up, but this can make things worse, so it's especially important to think twice before using .
  • Sometimes when you are really stressed you can have problems  with your emotional health, this can include; not eating properly, not sleeping, spending lots of time alone, acting aggressively, depression, worrying or self harm.
  • If anything is bothering you always try to talk to someone your friends, teachers, carers or family, it's very important not to bottle things up! Here at at 360º we have a dedicated worker who can support you or just be there to listen.

  • make time for yourself, relax and do things you enjoy
  • have a healthy and balanced diet
  • get plenty of sleep
  • exercise regularly
  • spend time with your friends and family
  • talk to other people about things which worry you
  • be aware of your strengths and things you find difficult
  • do something positive

  • The trick is to keep mind and body balanced, but life is full of ups and downs and coping with these isn't easy. Even an event that many would say is positive , like starting a new school, moving house, or having a baby can be extremely stressful, so take time to look after your emotional health as well as your physical health.
